Tekin customer support and Randy Pike - A+ AWESOME!
Hey guys...
Just wanted to let everybody know about my recent dealings with Tekin and more specifically Randy Pike.
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION in customer service!!
Long story short... I purchased a Tekin RS Pro system and installed it in my B44. I had problems from the get go with it, and contacted Randy for help.
He helped me into late hours of the night several times trying different things, different settings in the hotwire, eliminated the motor as the problem... and finally came to decide it was the speed control that was bad.
Well I had mentioned to Randy that I had a ROAR Regional race that I was scheduled to attend and he offered to take his PERSONAL RS Pro out of his car and overnight it to me so I could make the race, and we'd sort out the bad one later.
Randy doesn't know me from a hole in the wall and he did this to help a customer out!
That right there is customer service folks!
Randy and Tekin - Keep up the awesome work! From here on out its Tekin only in my equipment!

Tekin is a first class operation all the way out. I don't think I could ever put another speedo in my car, either...
This has to be the best customer service story ever. I've always said Tekin's customer service is top notch, but this is a whole new level. Props to Randy Pike and Tekin.

Thanks for sharing this experience with us. Stories like this are all too infrequent these days. We have come to almost expect sales and service staff to have completely indifferent attitudes towards clients once they have your cash in their pockets.
Thanks Tekin and specifically Randy for making the efforts to make yourselves stand out from the rest of the players in the RC market.
There are businesses everywhere that could learn a lot from you guys in how to provide exceptional service, hence customer satisfaction which then puts you in a great position for repeat business.

I am hoping I am able to relay a good story like this soon also. I have a 17.5 motor from them that I was planning on racing in my B4 in the first round of the ECT (Electric Championship Tour) next weekend but it had a rotor issue, then a heat issue, and I just called em up today to send it in.
I explained about the race (and they have attended in the past) and while the tech couldn't promise me anything he said it may help to mention it.
As a loyal consumer, and a dealer for their products, I hope to be back on here in a couple days with another great example of why they are the best!

Team Tekin IS THE BEST .... They dont Give you an issue for anything. The post office lost a battery I sent them and they are still replacing it for FREE!!!
I speak to TY. He is the Greatest to deal with, when I was getting help. They dont question your authority, or anything. they stand behind you 100%. So dont hesitate to buy there products

Even though I have the R1 pro the one before the RS pro, it's still a top of the line system for the money. I will be buying more tekin products in the future.
I have been eyeballing the tekin mini rage for a mini late model as well.

Everything I own has a TEKIN (x6) in it (not Mp9)
Yep. I'm glad I made the switch. I had an orange brushless ESC that let the evil smoke out when the front wheels were turned with the car off. Wasn't impressed with the CS. Once I got the new replacement back that I paid quite a bit for (again), I sold it and bought a used RS. Glad to see Tekin take care of their customers!
