Tamiya Chevy S10

Hey I have a tamiya Chevy s10 that is discontinued from Tamiya. Just wondering if anyone knew when this truck was released. I want to know how old this thing is.

I couldn't find an actual release date, but the exploded view has a copyright date of 1994

You can still buy the F150 version brand new as well.

I had this and put wide arms on it from a Blazing Star. Good fun truck.

I'm pretty sure it came out in the mid to late 90s. As was posted, the F150 is still available and parts are identical, just a different body. Great rig, you could call it a pre-cursor to the Slash/SC10/Blitz SCT class.

They are a tad on the heavy side and a bit narrow but otherwise a Great platform.

I did notice that the F-150 is still being manufactured, so thats a good thing for parts atleast.

I'm sure it was 1994, being as it was one of the last if not last MTEG seasons in which this truck and the F-150 were competing in. I miss MT races
