Avid RC also has very good ceramic balls. They also have bearings for just $1 dollar a piece. Can't be that.

Default Different size ceremics

After looking at axium's site< I noticed they offer 2 different size diff balls for associated. What does the different size's do performance wise?

remember, you have to have the correct size to fit in the holes for your diff gear. so you pretty much have to have the right size for the vehicle and gear. i just run the associated ft ceramic diff balls. just picked some up at the hobby shop. nothing special, easy and on the cheaper side. go ahead and try those.

For Associated, Axiom carries one size for the "diff" balls but two different sizes of "thrust" balls. One is the "stock" size and includes six. The other is a pack of 8 smaller balls. In theory, the smaller balls spread the load more consistently.
