Default New Sensored Brushless 1/8 Buggy Motors

I'm looking to have some motors made for me and am checking if there is interest in these motors. I'm not going to have a huge array of offerings, but ones that I think would be interesting to the 1/8 buggy crowd. Below is information of the motors:

Proposed kVs (based on interest):
2000kV (for 4s)
1650kV (for 5s)
1350kV (for 6s)

Size: 36mm x 62mm
Solder tabs for motor wires
Removeable endbells (front and rear held in via hex screws)
25mm mounting pattern
5mm shaft
Sensor port at rear of motor
180mm sensor cable
Wye-wind (torquier than Delta wind)

I'm picking these kVs as they are ideal for 4s, 5s, and 6s. Sorry, no pictures yet.

Price would be about $100 (plus shipping). I'll probably have a discount for the first batch.

Edit: Can probably offer a heatsink with integrated fan for $7-10 with motor purchase.

Thanks.

Yeah am interested in 1, not sure which KV though right now. I am running 4S but am debating on trying the 6S. I like the Idea of 36mm dia all the way, not sure if that length will work in the Ve8 but if it does I will try 1 for $100 at most why not. BUT are they going to be 4 pole or more?

These are 2-pole, like Speed Passion's SilverArrow motors. They will definitely fit the VE8 since the VE8 fits a CC/Neu 2200kV which is 76mm long. You should have room to spare and be lighter also.

I had the SA combo and those motors were made by Fiego, is this who are going to make these? I have a new 1 of those basically on the way. They arent bad motors but like it warm.

No pictures or motors yet. I'm gathering interest to meet a minimum order quantity. I'm hoping to offer a lower cost option for 4s to 6s setups than the Tekins which cost considerably more.
Yes, the sensor wires are removable. You use a sensor plug/wire just like Tekin and other sensored motors.
Yes, these are made by Feigao. They're not the same as Speed Passion's motors though. Feigao makes motors for a lot of other brands.
An equivalent 4-pole will almost always run cooler, simply due to that they make more torque. The only time this isn't the case is with Plettenburgs, which have nearly the same efficiency as most of the high-end 4-poles. However, Pletts cost as much as Neus. I'm not trying to offer a direct competitor to the 4-poles, but instead a lower cost, lighter weight option that will perform well in a 1/8 E-buggy. IMO, one of these partnered with a MMPro would be a great light-weight low-cost effective setup in a 1/8 E-buggy.
I can include a heatsink with integrated fan for $7-$10 probably with each motor purchase. Fans make a big difference in temps.

These are smooth cans. They would have to be larger diameter in order to be finned. They have holes on the side for venting. A heatsink should cover up the holes to prevent dirt intrusion while aiding cooling. I've never had a heat problem with my sensorless 2poles with a heatsink and fan and mine are higher kv pushing truggies.

how much difference do you see these being than say the Speed Passion line of 1/8 motors, other than KV at this time?

Performance-wise, they should be very similar to the SPs and other 2-pole sensored motors (LRP Vector 8, etc.). With the heatsink/fan I can probably offer with them, they should run cooler (and the vented can helps that too as it takes away some area where there is only 1 thermal interface instead of 2). The pricing and available kVs are the biggest differences between these and the other sensored 2-poles currently on the market. By being able to run the lower kV with higher voltage, heat and temps will drop considerably compared to the existing sensored 2-pole setups available (SP, LRP, Novak, etc.). And the cost is considerably less than comparable sensored 2-pole and 4-pole offerings. I'm hoping to run a MMPro with one of these personally.

Will the endbells bolt on or be pressed on. If bolted on, yes I'm interested.

Both front and rear endbells are removeable and held in via hex screws.

What kV are you interested in? I need to get an idea of interest in each kV. If there isn't enough interest in a particular one, I'll probably just order 1 or 2 for myself.
I still need to meet the min order requirement first though.

I would be interested in the 2000kv as I am concentrating on 4S. Would like to see some pics as soon as you get them. Thanks.

So far there seems like there's about 5-6 interested people. Not sure on kVs yet (except brofoe).

Would people be more interested in a complete combo? I might be able to source some MMPro or HW EZRun 80A ESCs to offer as a complete sensored combo. Making nothing on those, just buying and selling as part of the combo. Just an idea.

I'm working on getting pictures. They are matte black motors.
