T4 Diff help
Alright. I built my T4 FT kit a few weeks ago, been running it in races, getting a setup figured out... and for some reason, when I turn one of my rear wheels, the other wheel turns in the same direction. I rebuilt the diff, (I thought I killed it, turned out to just be a rock in the spur gear) and I have the same problem. However, before the rebuild, if I tightened/loosened it enough, they would turn in opposite directions.
I must be missing something, and I don't know what. All the pieces are there, and the outdrives are on the correct sides (I adjust the tension from the passenger side).
I am baffled. Anyone have an idea as to what would cause this?

So, when you turn one wheel, are you holding the spur gear still? If you have a brushless motor in there which has very litle drag, if you don't hold the spur gear you will just be turning the motor over, and not actually forcing the diff action, so both wheel will spin the same direction.

Hmm, maybe that's just it. I am running a Novak 6.5, and my buddy has a 5.5, and his will spin the opposite direction. I'll try holding the spur gear.
Edit - That's it. If I hold the spur gear, then they will counter-rotate. Thanks for the help.
