Cool Tomy Intruder . .

Hiya guys, got an old Tomy intruder I saved from my cousins garage and I want to get it working, prob is he has not built it right and I want to rip it apart and start again. I am not too familiar with this car would like to find an instruction manual to help.

Any ideas?

This will probably get a lot more views if I move it to the Electric Forum.

I am not sure which Intruder it is, I do know it is not the EX though! They released a stripped down cheaper version, lots of red plastic. I have the box but I need to check it!

When you try and use it it screams, like the diffs are loose, so I am not going to use it untill I have stripped it. Any advice on rebuilding the diffs in these thengs????

Unhappy

Hi Atlas,

Thanks for the message. The one I have was bought in about 1996, has the fibre glass chasis with ball diffs front and rear. The box just says Intruder, no mention of EX or adonis . . .

The front suspension mount is broken and I can`t find any parts anywhere!!!!

The diffs seem to be slipping real bad! I want to take the car apart and rebuild it to race (should get some interesting looks!) but I could really do with some instructions. If you could email me something could you send it to [email protected] as my work account can handle larger files.

Cheers for your help.

Cool Tomy Intruder Adonis Instruction Manual

If anybody requires an instruction manual for Tomy Intruder Adonis please email me and I'll send a scanned PDF copy. (5mb).

This manual is appropriate for standard Intruder also, as it include details of hop up items such as ball race diffs front and rear. Which is the real difference between basic adonis and Intruder.

Page 1 PDF attached.
