Default ELITE RC PRODUCTS 1/8 Electric Conversions

Hey everyone thanks for visiting my thread, for those that do not know me my name is Brandon Wong and I'm a avid RC Enthusiast. Like most I came from a nitro background, but with the current offroad brushless conversion craze, it is now pretty easy to get a conversion for practically any vehicle imaginable, well with most new products there will be flaws, this is where I come in. I care most about quality, functionality & aesthetics.

Here we will discuss about my products, talk about future projects & help one another so we can all prosper in this hobby.

Through trial & error I've designed many parts, some were great some not so great. Through much fabrication I've eliminated the flaws & have come up with the best possible designs.

Here is my first product, an original motor mount that is practical, durable & bad ass looking
It is a 2 piece design, motor mounts on the motor block and slides onto the motor mount, it has a sliding locking cam design which delivers ZERO backlash, it is held in place with a single screw, loosen the screw to make mesh adjustment, remove the single screw & you can slide the whole motor out.
All my mounts are made from aircraft grade 7075 T7 aluminum.

Here is the other side of the sliding motor block, as you can clearly see, I've incorporated a bearing in the block for extra shaft support. Now there will be no stress on the front motor bearing. I designed it for easy maintenance, the bearing is a typical 5x10 clutchbell bearing which can be replaced & bought in most hobby shops, I will also have spare parts & accessories on my webpage.

More details & pictures can be found on my webpage www.ELITERCD.com

For those that waited so long for my product, I would like to Thank you for the patience & believing in my products, I sincerely appreciate everyone of you

Ok, as you can see the first batch of mount is finally finished, I will bring it to get anodized tomorrow so it should be ready to ship by the end of the week.

Hey Ambo,

Thanks for the compliments, all of them will be anodized, I might leave a couple as they are now for those that like the machined aluminum look.

Beautiful work Brandon! Great to see another guy starting up his own RC parts business!

Very nicely machined, can definitely see the quality from the finish...

Very nice, congrats. If you do a mount for the Hyper 9E, I would definitely give it a look to pick up.

wouldn't be suprised if another brand fits the caster. And who knows, maybe caster will modify there design.

Are you interested in making any other parts? I know a variety of academy guys who are looking for someone to machine a few parts. Really like your work, and these parts really shouldn't be much to do.

Also, what is your warranty on the parts you make?
