Is it a HV series motor?
If yes, it can be used. Jessy Robbers is running the Novak 6,5

It's not the HV series. Does that mean no?

so its a 1/10 scale motor? Then no, you will want a 1/8 scale sized motor and ESC setup.

You may want to post your questions in the 1/8 electric thread, lots of info there. Based on the experiences people have posted, not too many have liked the Novak HV setup in 1/8. Tekin RX8 and Mamba Monster ESC setups are popular right now.

Motors for 1/8 are far different than 1/10 scale. It's basically an 8-lb car versus a 2-3 lb car.

However, there are times when you can run a 1/10 scale ESC with a 1/8 scale motor. I would say try to buy the right 1/8 ESC and motor for your application.
