Default Valineon System in a 4WD 1/10th Buggy

Has anyone fit a Valineon system into a 1/10th scale 4WD buggy? I have a Valineon setup and I am looking at 4WD 1/10th scale buggies. Knowing which buggy the Valineon fits may sway my decision... thanks!

I had one in a Tamiya DF-03 and after cutting the chassis a bit it fit just fine. However the car was a piece of garbage so I HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from it as possible.

I honestly wouldn't use the VXL system in a 4wd buggy if possible. At least not the speed control. They have major issues with their LVC and the one touch "programming" leaves a lot to be desired in terms of tuning the controller. Get a Mamba Max, Sidewinder, or Tekin. It will pay off.

Go sensored for 4wd.

Bigger cars I can live with non-sensored and have a few myself. I had a Mamba Max (non-sensored) in my B44 and it was not too kind. For smaller 1/10 scale....gotta have sensored.

I ran a Mamba max 5700Kv combo in an Academy SBV2 Pro Buggy and I had no issues with it. It worked excellent and I know of another team driver for Academy who was running the 7700Kv combo indoors with his and winning with it.

I also raced using the Mamba Max 4600Kv combo in stadium truck and it worked well too once configured right.

Not sure about the velion as far as configuration, but I wouldn't have a problem giving it a shot in a wheeler. If it doesn't work as you want, then look into a sensored system.

I've got a VXL system in my B44. It runs fair at best. The motor cut-out is not long enought for a Valineon motor. I have it kinda "wedged" in there.

And.... the motor/esc has a slight hesitation at the start. A kinda "buzz" before it gets going. I don't like it. Maybe mine is broken in some fashion.

Look at a tekin or novak system

Got a velineon in my tc3 "O" and it works flawless. For an offroad vehicle sensored is not a must have. I did have to shave some parts of the tc3 chassis though.
