Default Basher

I change cars like i change clothes. In need of a new basher. 1/10 or 1/8.
I just built a sc8e and love it but it isn't much of a basher, too low.

I don't want something i've had, slash,erbe, revo 3.3, mini revo, sc10.

Has to be durable and electric. Thought about a flux but thats alittle more than i'd like to spend right now. Leaning towards the New BND Strike

They aren't that great IMO. Not for a basher at least. Body uses 6 pins for one example and they are kinda fragile. I also think that "bashers" need to be 4wd. You don't like the SC8-E for bashing? I LOVE mine for outdoor use. Would be better without the center diff though, or at least locking it would help but I am too lazy for that.

its not that i don't love bashing the sc8 but because it sits so low i get hung up on the smallest things, like a stick even for example. i'm used to my erbe that can walk over anything and jump from 15 feet bounce and roll on. I guess i just got spoiled my a MT and expected it from anything else. I love the sc8, but its for racing and i bash more often

I guess it depends on the type of surface you are driving on. There is a huge woodchip/bark pit a few miles from my house and works perfect there. Does get hung up on some ruts but otherwise does awesome.
I'm currently having issues with my steering being super slow. Changed out the servo and doing the same thing. Haven't pulled it apart to find out why but curious if you have any ideas???

Going from an ERBE to a Losi desert truck you will want to kick your feet and cry I think. Really not a good idea.

if price isn't an issue, the savage flux on lipos is a great basher.

i don't know man, there isn't much involved with the steering. If you swapped out servos, then is there any slight binding? or maybe the spring is too tight or too loose

Try a Traxxas Stampede. Lot's of hop up options and tough as nails. Also awesome ground clearance.
