I have 3 CC systems and all my original switches work. 1 is 3 years old. If I had a problem I would bypass the switch but they work fine and come in handy when calibrating. My rides are not shelf queens either

I don't know why some have switch probs, I have 5 Mamba 25s, Mamba MicroPro, a Sidewinder, 2 MMs, and 3CC combos and have never had a switch go bad.

I never leave them loose, I use 3M foam dbl stick tape and plant them somewhere where its easy to reach.
