Default Mamba max problem

Hi ,

My Mamba max stops working if I shut the switch off and turn it back on, I will have no power to the motor but the steering will work. Now if I disconect the battery and switch it on , it works fine. Does anyone know why? Thanks

If you disconnect the battery and switch it on it works???
First guess is the on/off switch has a loose solder joint or something similar. For all my Mamba systems I cut the switch off, solder the +/- wires together and that way every time I plug in a battery it automatically turns on.

If that doesn't work update your software through Castle Link and check your battery voltage as maybe it's tripping the LVC.

If you have steering then your BEC is fine so that's not an issue. If possible try swapping out everything one at a time to ensure it is in fact your ESC because even though that is what's malfunctioning another part could be causing it too.

+ 1 for cutting off the switch! The switches on the MM are garbage and cause a ton of problems. Since I've cut them off on both my MM, I've had no more issues. Cut and solder the wires together. This might solve the problem...

Safty feature. You have to unplug battery to reset it.
