Talking Project Ultimate Rally TA02!

I have two TA02's at home with the front and rear gear boxes but I have decided to turn one into a rally racer and the other I don't know yet, I will list the following parts that I will add:

F&R A-Arm Set @40
F&R Knuckle Set @45-50
Motor Heat Sinck Spacer @12
F&R Hardened Steel Universals @50
Aluminum Body Mount Posts @20
Complete HingePin Set @20
Center Steering Link @10
Ball Bearing Steering Set @40

Question what size pinion should I run and spur gear because GPM has a few different sizes.

ok...1st thing. An 8turn is a no no for a rally car. specialy a TAO2! I blew about 6-7 trannies in my O2 with a STOCK motor. Rally cars are better run as stock then mod. of a lighter mod nothing as hot as a 8turn. You may want to use the stock chassis as well because I'm not to sure baoiut the strength of the after market 1 for a rally car. another worth while mod are the Manta ray gears. they are more durable. Other then that...have fun! and remember to let of the gas before u land a jump! It doesn;t take many landings with teh power on to mess your gears up.

Ok Because I was kinda thinking that to about the 8 turn but it would really get some air at the track on those triples but I'll take your word for it maybe I'll settle for something like a 10 or 14 turn motor. I will still add the Graphite though because it looks cool .

I'm running a 12x2 in my TL01 and there are no problems.
