Swept qualifiers and the A-Main in stock class yet again. Just for fun, I also raced open class with my stock USC and placed 4th in the A.

I was again accused of cheating.. sort of. One of the top 3 drivers at our track asked me if my truck was 4WD and I said "nope". He actually flipped my USC upside down with his foot so he could see the underside of it and said "sure handles like it's 4wd". hahahaha I think he was a little bent that my USC outmaneuvers his SC10.

The bones seemed allright,my fault haven't had a dogbone car since 89,the gear diff was fine,it was the top shaft. When I put the ball diff in and tried the truck, too late, the dbone was toast.the stock shocks haven't leaked yet, perhaps that washer that holds the spacers and orings nedds to be seated a little more, isn't it held in by friction?

What's a good pinion/spur to go with a Castle 4600Kv motor?

the 19/82 that's in there right now seems like it's somewhat high geared but I wouldn't call the acceleration I'm getting to be sluggish at all, it usually breaks traction on the stock tires on any surface.

Anyone have problems with the stock gear diff locking up or slipping? My gear diff started to make some noise and when I took it apart, there were alot of metal flakes in the grease.

Anyone have any idea what gearing and profile to use with a Lrp SPX and a Duo2 10.5? Help! Thanks in advance! BTW I have the 82/17 for now.A profile recommendation would be hugely appreciated.

slipping after about 20 minutes of run after purchase, I think it is a silver colored grease in the diff, mine barely had any left, I cleaned it out, shimmed behind the large gears (one thin shim each) and refilled with grease and it has been ran another 40 minutes and the diff looks great inside and feels good on the track

Yup, mine locked up on me. It kept spinning all over the place and i couldn't figure out why. Took the gear diff out and BAMMMMM, the diff was as tight as a virgin!
Replaced it with a ball diff and problem solved.

How do you secure the battery with that setup?
