Not sure where this is coming from. To date we have replaced any Lektron's that had issues. Specifically because Medusa left us high and dry. They won't answer our calls, they won't return our emails.

On the Tekno/Neu's we suggest calling Neu since they are the manufacturer and handle all warranty and service work. We suggest that simply to save the customer time.

That sucks how Medusa just left with everyone else holding the bag. Since they no longer produce the Lektrons, does that mean that the existing Lektron stock is all that's left?

That's correct . We're working on some new stuff though and we will definitely be reclaiming the top spot in the 1/8th motor world. Stay tuned.

My point exactly, why would you want to buy a LECTRON motor? It breaks TEKNO can't do anything about it, they might not have anything to replace it. You can't send it to replace it.

As for my previous comment I stand by it. I have called neu on motor failures, their response "motor damaged because of vibration" Are you kidding me? Its on a 1/8th scale buggy they go on blabbering about wires. Even though they were carefully ziptied. NOTICE no more blue Cans are sold. I called Tekno back and they said well Its a Neu motor no one said they would repair all motors...

So why would you want to buy anything that has a tekno stamp on it? They don't make it and the people that do are either not in buisness or do not care about it. Now the Tekno Lectron motors are DUST.

When they come out with their third motor, if they come out with them, would anyone consider buying? How long would they be around before being discontinued...

Don't get me wrong, anything wrong with the conversion kits; I have been taken care of immediatley and they guys will bend over backwards to help. But stay away from their electronics because they don't make them and the courteous support that they have for all other tekno products seems to magically dissapear.

Ahsan Shams (discowings),

We've been through all of this on the phone. I'm not sure what we're supposed to do about motors that need repair from a different manufacturer (Neu). We have plenty of Lektrons for replacement if something were to happen.

As for the Lektrons, you've never oredered one, so why would you come on here to bash us about them? As you've stated, we've bent over backwards for you in the past - on many occasions. Some people are just never satisfied and feel that they are owed something. Our customer service record is impeccable. I just don't understand what you are accomplishing by bringing this up again here. Try and find another shop that will spend hours on the phone with you helping and trying to solve your problems.

Air? You guys have a warranty disclaimer for air?

In all seriousness, Disco TEKNO has great customer support and I don't know why you'd bash them for a product you don't own.

You know, if the US had this type of mentality, we would not be the super power. Thumbs up to tekno and their hard work. Kudos!! Look at Castle, their MMM took THREE revisions in like 6 to 8 months to become solid... Guess what, they have a pretty strong 1/8th ESC... it's called the V3. Tekin, well known company. Tons of issues with their rotors on their T8s and tons of solder problems on their RX8. Guess what, they systems are getting stronger and stronger by the day. If you haven't failed, you haven't tried to succeed!!!

So Teckno what kind of deals you giving on the last bit of lectrons you have? I have never heard anything bad about them and would buy 1 for a spare if the price was right. I tried to get a Medusa before they were all gone but I guess I heard too late.
