Questions?? rc8e mmm question

I just finished my rc8e conversion and I have the mmm 2650kv motor, now wiring it up, Is it supposed to be 7.4 total volts or 14.8 total volts to the esc?

Thanks, Matt

Since you have the faster of the CC motors - what's your pinion size? With 4S1P (the most cells they recommend for this motor) you may want to look at an 11T pinion to start with. Get a temperature gauge to track motor, ESC and battery temperatures and keep them lower than 170F (motor) and 120F (battery). ESC has thermal protection and should be ok as long as you have the right gearing - but keep it below say 170F as well.
