Default Changing a spur gear in zx-5

Hi all,

I am new to 1/10th electric buggies.

What's the easiest way to change the spur gear in a Kyosho ZX-5? (ie without taking half the chassis apart)

Here is a pic of my set up:

Any help is appreciated.

Cool

This is what i did when i had mine:

1. Take off tires
2. Pop th rear turnbuckles that r attached to th diff case
3.Unscrew shocks from A-ARMS
4.Unscrew th last 4 screws in th Upper Deck
5. Unscrew the bottom 4 screws under th chassis that hold th R. Diff Case to th chassis
6. Take out th diff case by pulling towards the back of the buggy so th spur etc......... will come out and then take that stuff apart that leads to th spur and there ya go!!!!!!

If someone found a shorter way, post it up!!!! Or if i missed anything tell him

Huh? I just take off the little 4 screw brace above the spur and the front to rear chassis stiffener that runs along the center drive shaft. Then the slipper, spur, and bearings all pop up with minimal effort by moving / removing the center drive shaft. Might want to leave your car nose down against a wall when you do this or the little tiny drive shaft in the front will come out and then you will have to use something (probably fairly easy as well) to drop it back in.

Wayne

EDIT: Oh wait, sorry -- I thought this was an FS.
