So nobody found a use for those little holes in the esc tray? I wonder if the Erevo MMM mount would bolt to that. If anyone has that check it out and let us know.

So here is a question...

How is the Ve8 compared to the Hyper 9e? Handleing, jumping, etc.

Going to ask this over in the 9e section as well... Not to get a war started, but I figure its best to hear from both sides if you want to figure out where the truth lies. So no

the erevo mount does fit real well using those holes but you'll need very long countersink screws to make it work.

I was about to ask the same question. Anyhow, can anyone provide a list
of the lipos that fit this buggy, hard case or soft case. Thanks

I put screws in those two holes and screwed rod ends on the other side. Both the MMM & the RX8 fit perfectly between the rod ends and made a perfect way to run a zip tie over the speedo to hold it on the velcro.

i double sticked mine to the 45 degree angle on the right hand side rear corner of the chassis... the rx8 switch fits in there VERY nicely

Here are a few pictures of my fix for the MMM 2650, if you talk with CC they will send you the three color wires that you get when you send in your ESC for repair but you can get them by asking nicely. They are the perfect lenth and you only need to cut off the Tin end as they have the bullets on the other end.

Do not cut the orginal wires that come off the motor, just open up the bullets a little with screw driver and insert the bare wire ends of the others into the bullet and crimp them, with this done just add solder as it will fill in real well because the bullets are porous, then shrink wrap.

I bought the tork/2200 thinking it would work but had to get my wires longer too, I guess thats why they used a E-revo version in the pics I should have got that 1. Kboucher thats a good idea, mine has the "low wire mod" ends on it with the esc turned around 180 deg so I could use the wire router on the center diff and have the wires in the 1st battery strap= no movement.

You would think it would be for the MMM as they use a relabeled version in other HPI vehicles....
