I don't have a number but I asked Josh if the chassis was lighter & He told me it was not light. I think you guys will be surprised at how heavy it is.

Ok, we know the battery area is 140mm long, but does anyone know the width?

Nice price. I kinda like Caster's dual side by side battery tray still, but this is on my list.

It's funny that the 1/8th Electric buggy is 75$ cheaper than the 1/10th version

There 10th scale 4wd has a lot of carbon fiber so I am sure that added a lot to the price.

I'm sure it does add alot to the price.

But it's almost getting to the point a 1/8th E racer is cheaper than a 1/10th. The kits at least.

I was seriously looking at a Caster Sport roller for 250$, but for 50$ more I get a HB buggy with all the goodies....

yeah its great to finally start getting some real options. The only thing I really dont like about the hot bodies is the shorter battery tray. Fine if you are going to run 2 roar legal sized 10th scale packs though.

We are finally starting to get electronics from the major companies too. 8th scale electric has come a long way in the past year. Much better then when I did my hyper 8 with a schulze esc and feigao motor .

I'm going to buy it too (if something better doesn t come out in the meantime)!

I'm not worried about the plastic chassis (I love Polymers) but the weight balance bother me a little.
Wouldn't it be possible, removing the receiver's case and the brake servo, to install a battery tray on the left side too?

Even esc/motors are pretty much the same price. Look at the Tekin RS Pro and Sensor Motor Combo, $15 cheaper than the 1/8 RX8 combo.
