The only big differnce is the rear shocks are a little bit longer, and the chassis is lighter. I was not saying to buy a new k2 or mbx5, but you can get a used one in good shape with motor and exhuast for a good price. Probaly right around his price range. I have a k2 and I have no plans of getting a k3, Just not that much different in the two. I agree with Gped0124, I have seen so many people buy the rtr's because they are cheaper and wind up selling them and buying a mugen or Kyosho. All Im saying is if you plan on racing, At the least I would get the hyper 7 pcr rtr, If not get a used muen or kyosho. And what do you mean the k2 isnt going to be a cant win anywhere buggy. I tell you what contact me at the end of the 2004 season and I'll let you know how many races I won
I think you read my post about the K2/K3 the wrong way. I wasn't dissing the K2 at all, exact opposite, alot of people are still running the K2 and my friend (pro) plans on picking up another k2 instead of the K3. Not alot of people like the K3. BTW, Me and my MBX5 won tonight.
