I know there are still quite a few people looking to make this conversion.
Here's the motor mount I'm using:

Awesome swaps! Would look very cool with the old school bodies too!

Black Tub Roller
Here is my RC10GT-e conversion, a work in progress. Roller is finished. Still need to move some mounts around to fit everything. Have a Pro-Tec MG servo to install and a HW FT 13.5T motor/ESC combo in the mail from amain. Power will come from a 4600 2S Shorty. It will see action on a backyard grasstrack come Springtime.

AE No. 7323 body mount set with 1/2" aluminum tubing spacers and 1" body mount uprights. The 1"ers came from my pit box, so are of indeterminate maker. Truck was bought as a nitro off Ebay. Body that came with it did not fit, so had to adjust the mounts to fit the existing body holes. Here is a body on picture as a nitro before beginning the conversion to electric.
Rusty_us, scroll up to the blue plate conversion earlier in this thread. That is the standard RR mount configuration that I started with on the black tub.
Hope this answers the mail. Cheers. AC

Finger Guard for exposed spur gear
Finally got tired of tempting fate and fabricated a finger guard for the RC10GTe brushless conversion. Cut a rectangle of 0.030" Lexan and put a "Z" bend on it. Attached it to two unused holes on the tranny case. Looking at the above posted image, truck sure looks a lot different now. Cheers. 'AC'
