Wheres the 1/10th 4wd short course trucks?
I know ofna is making one but i was thinking more of traxxas associated hpi or losi. I would think instead of flooding the market with more 2wd's someone would steal away the new market of 4x4 short course trucks. I love my sc8 I would think that a 1/10th version would really awesome.
One thing is for sure. The first company to do it is gonna sell a boat load of them if it's a decent truck. Gotta be tough though not sure a b44 conversion would work.
I guess it's to much work anymore to come out with an entirely new truck platform these days. Maybe traxxas will put two back halves of a slash together lol. Let's hope not

I honestly don't see the reason for one its just more things to break or wear out. 1/0th scale already has too many classes adding 4wd will cause the other classes have a smaller turn out I think 2wd SC is good enough. as far ofna selling a boat load of 4wd SC is highly doubted ofna isn't a "household name" as traxxas or losi.

I personally agree and would LOVE a 1/10 SC 4x4 truck. I would buy a 4x4 slash and have more fun with it than anything I own.
Making a truck isn't really about classes available at the race track. Look at some of the SUPER popular vehicles out there that are not big hits at the race tracks.
It needs to be tough though, NOT like the other 1/10 scales.
I figured though if they don't make one, I'll probably just convert a 1/8 electric buggy to one, it should be tough as nails and handle well.

i have a revo platinum and honestly it is not tough at all, the chassis is really really weak. Anytime I tap something with the engine, the chassis bends in that area. I love it, but I would not start a project with that chassis from my experiences..

yeah i agree the revo is basically a 1/8, but I meant the 1/8 buggies that are on the market

I to am very intereseted in a 4WD SCT truck. I own a Slash and a Mini Slash that I race as much as I can. I like them both but would love to see a E-Revo based 1/10th Slash or equivelent. RC Car Action converted a Durtrax Raze to SCT so why not others. The B44 is too small to convert. The RC8, 8ight, etc are the right Wheelbase, width and so on. They may be a bit heavy but that is true in 1:1 TORC racing too. I used to race off-road and the Trophy dash merged all classes together and it wasn't always the 4WD. It depended on track conditions.
I'm sure my next vehicle will be a custom conversion. I am planning it already but can go many ways. Cost and Timing will dictate.
