This is the replacement thread for the one now filled with endless useless debate. The truck is not due out for another four weeks, so for now post your thoughts.
I like the mid motor design and the lowered battery myself. Again it will be at the mercy of tire grip and driver ability. I'll get one though. My son can whoop my backside with the Slash then.

I think this truck is gonna be better than people think. Can't wait to see one run.Tires look killer.Unfortunatly my stock Slash will completely destroy it.Nice truck though.Should fit right in.

I have a Slash that will be donated to my son as soon as I can get my hands on one of these. It was officially his once, but he lost interest and now suddenly he wants it back. Go figure the mind of an 11 year old. I'm hoping the stock Slash stays in the winning ranks, at least 1/3 of the time.
Back on topic.
I like the tire tread pattern. It looks like it'll hook up well on almost any surface.

I'm a losi guy for life, I love the fact that somebody finally came out with a bind and drive. I've got a DX3s which saves me the pain of having all these extra crappy tx to sell on ebay. I bought a slash and couldn't sell the stock tx and rx for the life of me. The truck itself does look pretty rad, from the tires to the mid mounted motor, i think this truck will handle well. One thing I've noticed about the slash and sc10 is that when using a lipo the truck handles kinda sloppily due to the lack of weight on the front end making steering looser. I'm curious what kind of hopups will be offered for the Strike, my slash is RPM all the way around with MIP CVDS and titanium tb's and hingepins. Can't wait to drive one of these bad boys with some brushless power behind it.

Go with the lo-tech solution and just add some weights. Worked great on my Slash.
