Excuse the lame question, I'm still trying to figure out this new-fangled technology...
Is the receiver that's in the RTR also a BND type receiver? Meaning, if I buy the RTR, and later upgrade to a Spektrum-brand transmitter, can I still use the receiver that came with the RTR?

Yes it is.

I personally think the truck has a lot of potential. Seems like it was designed with the SCT purpose in mind...
Pretty cool design as far as I can tell... Quality is a different issue... But Horizon/Losi never seems to disappoint in their RC cars/trucks... Would be interesting to see these things run with the Slashes and SC10s...

More variety is always a good thing
I'm hoping they make it for indoor season myself. It'll be close!

will rctvlive.com have it before it ships for a review? it would be cool to see all three race at once the sc10 and slash. i like the look of the strike I think losi did a great job.
correct me if I'm wrong but this is based on a Losi High Roller? If so that was very smart because the high roller is a poor seller. Now Losi can discontinue that turd and make up the chassis development funds on this SCT. I'm just shocked that Losi made it so toy looking, instead of getting real sponsors on the body. The actual body design is pretty good. The profile is more realistic then the slash and SC10.
RCGaryK has one but he's super special, the production trucks will be out end-o-summer.

Does anyone one know if all 4 wheels are the same? I really prefer the convienence of vehicles that use the same offset and mounting system on all 4 wheels.

I've asked this question a few times now....either nobody knows or they aren't willing to share the info
The wheels and tires come in sets of 4 and have hexes on the back. They can be used for front or back. They will be interchangeable with the Slash and SC10 stock tires.

Does the strike use the same rear axles as the losi 1/10th scale slider
and the Sportswerk raven. If so tell some one in QC to get them to
have the material harden up. The axles bend so easy its not funny.
