I run a slash - (actually 3 of them more or less as I do the wrenching on mine, my son's and my brother's).
I'll worry about the SC10/Strike issue when they beat me, repeatedly. Ain't happened yet. I suppose there is some measurable way that one is better than the other - some scientific way to measuring without the input of a driver but until this turns into CNC racing - I'll keep what I have and be ok.
Most SCT racing is local - local tracks will decide what works best for them. The deciding factor is fun, repeat customers and growing their "brand". when it doesn't make sense to run brand x with brand y in the same class - they'll stop.
Because it's called the Slash Class.
Oh wait - because now the 5 million Slash-ka-teers don't have the "best" truck in the class. They think the SC10 and Striker did something better and instead of having to replace their Slashes and FLOOD the market with used ones they can just keep them segregated. How well does segregation work?
