Gabe the RCN is more than just regional. We have tracks nation wide. In our system club races qualify you for divisionals and divisonals qualify you for the nationals. Let me know if you have any questions about the RCN. I can use all the help I can get in spreading the word.

Hey Gabe.

Ok i got a tire question for ya.

Here where i live we have one offroad track and even that has been dis-used for quite sometime.

Now a few of us are restarting the track/club. I am trying to work out what tire to use.

Heres the surface.

Hard conpacted loam, Vegetable oiled, bumpy. But it has not been oiled in about 7years, basically when i stopped racing.

The surface is now hard, almost as hard as concrete, starting to break up in places and very dusty/slippery.

What tire would you recommend? I used to use losi Ifmar pins in silver compound on my B2 then on my B3. But they would be ruined after 2 runs!!

Now what would you recommend??

Glenn

p.s I am in Australia

Hey.

Yeah back in the ole day ppl would use old sump oil but that is illegal now so we used vegetable oil. It smelt like hot chips for months but the grip was INCREDIBLE!! and it last ages.

We always had one problem with our track and that was that it was too slippery. and because RC isn't huge here we couldn't get it to blue groove either.

I will see if i can dig up some pics of tracks here.

Can you tell me more about how you put oil down on the track what it actually did to the track. things like that i am actually interested in learning about this and not asking to be a jerk.

Hey Gabe, putting 100gallons of oil on the freeway would be sooooooooo funnny!!!! only if we were all invincible and couldn't get hurt!!

Anyway we are thinking of re-building the track as its been down 7 years!! I think i still hold the 2wd Modified track record with my B3 from 6 years ago!! LOL

I will take some pics today and let everyone see how we race here in AUS.

I think you US guys are so lucky as we have no indoor offroad at all here, we did have a track back in 1994/1995 but it shut down 9years ago now.

I have been talking to a few others and maybe we can make it more like a US track and i would like to make it easier to change the layout if we wish.

Anyways check back later for pics.

Hi Gabe,
Iīm writing you from Spain...
I have been reading your profile on your old web.

There, you say... Team Losi offered you to be a level-5 team driver.

Could you please tell us a bit how the sponsored drivers world works? How many levels, what they give you in each level, how much a pro driver can earn, what results you have to give them to continue there, if you sign closed contracts, and all you like to share with us about this.

You donīt have to give names or very especific information, only an overview about it.

Thank you in advance.
Regards.
