I have several questions on tires. I race 2w stock and 4w mod offroad.
What is the best way to sand down front tires, I hear dremel (all I did was gouge the hell out of them), belt sander, drill with old front axle, what works for you?
After gluing tires ( I am very careful and patient) I don't seam to get the results I want. I am placing the foam in as even as possible, but, the tires seam to not be perfectly round when I am done. They are pretty wobbly (circumfrence) and I am searching for steering and think this is having an effect. Is this something I should address or forget about?
Also after glueing (never check a new wheel) I notice that all of the wheels are bent which makes it hard to set camber correctly (one way it's @ -1 degree, turn the wheel 180 and it is @ zero). Should this be fixed or not worry about?
Do you suggest adding a couple of holes in the wheels so the tires can move more air?
Do you balance front and rear tires or is this a waste of time.
Thanks for you help.
