i think they tried to follow the slash look too much, they tried to add the look of the jconcepts slash body with the scoop and stuff. i think that is the uglyest body ive every seen...

i bet the team losi guys are retty disapointed..

i would be.. thank god for my sc10

but hey at least 2 major people are in the short corse game now

but i do like the chrome options, and i do like the ESC. may have to put one in my slash if the allow it...

to me it looks like an old stampede setup..im an AE fan but i thought losi was gonna bring some competition..still could run good but just very dissapointed

Hmm, it seems a lot of people was rather 'annoyed' with the idea of losi bringing out yet another XXX platform (although some wanted it based on that) and now Losi has actually released it and people are even more p!ssed off with it because it is different.

What the hell

I honestly don't see how it is a 'redisigned slash', there is a lot of differences... does the SC10 get called a redisigned slash?
They are after all meant to be Corr influenced trucks.
I am seeing some major differences between the Strike and Slash...
The only thing similar I see is the motor, which I honestly think is the safe move going with, as mentioned in another thread, if they put something more powerful in it then it would not be invited to run stock class with the slash.

Traxxas set the ball running, they have their own class and is very successful.
So I figure Losi's thinking probably would have been "if ya cant beat them... join them".
It probably would not take a lot to beat the slash, no one will know until they are raced together.

Also with this Losi may get sales from both sides aswell, the racing side and the bashing side, the Slash was primarily bashing until it got it's own class and the SC10 I have to say is more popular with racers.

I know... you can't please everyone.

For the guys with radios they also have a plug and bind model(I think).

I like the look of it, it already has aluminum shocks that will be much more durable. Has a sturdy gear box as well.

It should compete with a slash, allowing that class to grow even more. The sc10 is by any means not even close in speed to the slash. Forcing them to have a class. Ususally meaning the guy can't run because the track does not have enough.

Also Losi obviously didn't intend on it being the greatest racer as it does not meet the roar specs.

The losi will probably wind up being a better version of the slash. I don't think it was meant to go against the sc10. I know many people who were waiting for the losi, I guess sc10 here they come.

JConcepts will have a body out in no time flat! This Truck is all new! Nothing from the XXX line of cars and Trucks! It fits the class rules ! Like to see what you haters say after just a few months of hard racing! I'm sure there will be a few bugs, plain and simple its a great platform for a Corr truck! Now can we stop calling it the SLASH Class.....

Other than the beat-with-an-ugly-stick body,I think it will be a hit.Lipo ready,threaded aluminum shocks and the bind-and-drive option,whats not to like?Im glad they didn't take the easy way out and base it off the XXX-T platform.I think it was a better idea to make it comparable to the Slash and not the SC10,alot more Slashes out there than SC10's
