I tried them but they're a lot thicker causing the slipper unit to be wider, do you sand them down? The yokomo ones are about .7mm wide, the mckunes about 0.9mm

do you notice that when on throttle for jumps? I used to get that but suspected bad bearings, damaged motor

Yup, that's why it's time to change my slipper pads. Plus I run om high bite clay.

how often are you changing your pads on high bite clay? I'm gonna try sand down my Mckune pads to the same as the yokomo ones as they're a lot thicker and cause the slipper unit to not fit

Im running on high traction carpet and have noticed my pads glazed quicker than I expected.. maybe also excess slip during jumps as I struggled to clear them last race meet. Also slipper was a tad looser than before when I eyeballed it 0.1~0.3 less...(the time I don't use my calipers!! )

First time sense last October. That's when I notice it was barking, when I went over the crossover and the doubles yesterday.

I installed the McKune FR-4 slipper pads (which fit like a glove) and adjusted the slipper nut to 2mm instead of 2.5mm to 3mm and it works like a champ. When running my Bmax I found it to be a lot more responsive without the barking when you burp the throttle.

Tried them again and it was a very tight fit with 2mm gap. Did you find it a tighter fit? Definitely no play now versus oem... So hopefully better with mesh over time

I had no problem with fit and still have a lot of adjustment. I did notice that on the packages of McKune slipper pads I got it said Rev.2 and when I gauged them they where .723

Rippen - how are the new pads going for you?

i just roached another spur that may be did max 10 cycles... Was pulling hot laps then came off a jump, landed and then yanked the throttle and did a wheelie and then spur was roached.

I ran them the past 2 weeks with zero issues, I love them and no barking

Default BMAX4 II DIFF CONVERSION

Hi guys, need to update a friends Bmax4 II plastic 12 ball diff to the 16 ball diff.. I have the 16 ball diff gear set and I know i'll need the short long outdrive and B2 diff plates, but will the 16 ball diff gear fit in the Bmax4 II diff casing? any help appreciated as the old 12 ball diff gears are getting hard to find. Cheers.
