Traxxas now has Slash specific big bores that I would look into.

I'm using Losi shocks on my Slash, BK2 rears on the front and MF2 rears on the rear. Losi do great shocks and being the threaded type adjustment is so so easy.

why do you want aftermarket shocks? whats wrong with the stock ones? have you tried to change the oil in the stock ones or put different perloads in them or even tried putting them in different locations on the arm?

to tell you the truth the stock shocks are just fine. i race them in mod corr truck and i bash my slash like very day and they work just fine. i rebuild them after every 2 races and after every race i put new oil in them and they work great.

why would change the oil every race the oil stays clean for a while and after market shocks are 10x better than the stockers

I went aftermarket because even after replacing the shock caps with the al ones, they still leak. I also prefer a treaded pre-load adjustment over the plastic spacers.

racing they are fine, but when it comes to bashing they suck and the caps pop off too much for the liking. Just want to invest in something a bit more sturdy that can take a good beating.

traxxas Big bores. they are durable with aluminum bodies and caps. But there bore isn't anywhere near as big as the 8ight shocks.
