I run True Rc 6400 15c packs in my Caster.....they run well with 20+ min of run time.If you use a good quality battery and dont go crazy on the kv or gearing I think you will be ok.

i dont know who said they will puff, but i know they wont, and for 2 batteries for less then 100 shipped! come on, just turn the EPA down a bit and you got a solid practice pack, i run a 10c 8000 in my truggy now with no problems
