I'd put my money into a TEKIN system they have good customer support and great products.

that stuff is good. i wouldnt put my money in one of those vxl systems, they arent very fast, go with the 5700 mamba system, a novak or tekin system.

My vxl system was OUT OF CONTROL!! Al least 60mph easy on a 3s lipo with a 27t pinion.

To tell you the truth i had my vxl system for 2 years and i never had problems with it. I ran 2s and 3s lipos. People say the esc is crap but it really is just fine. It never gave me problems one time!

Yes, it will work. The connectors on the VXL might be a bit smaller but you can always solder on the correct 4mm bullet connectors to mate with the Mamba ESC. My next setup for my Slash may be a Mamba + VXL motor or a Medusa motor.
