Johnny, are there two screw holes on the left and right side of the chassis straight out from the center hole in the battery area? If so, this is also a JR-XT, but this one has been equipped with the H-Arm conversion

The LRM tranny was bullitproof, plus it was lighter then the AE 6-gear tranny. Plus, it was sooooooooo easy to adjust the diff tension too with the center mounted diff.

It should. The JR-XT and the JR-X2 shared many components, and bulkheads were just one of them.

I had a JRXT too. My first car was a Jr. 2. Their "entry Level" buggy. It was their first car with a tub chassis. Then the JRxT. Then the Jr2 got converted to a JRX Pro SE When that came out and JRxT got converted to an LXT. All of those cars used the same bulkheads and hub carriers so converting was no problem. I stripped my share of outdrive gears on that old LRM chassis before the XX Tranny came out. I still have the LXT that has the original front bulkhead from my Jr 2 buggy on it! My brother inlaw ran it a the local track a couple of months ago. It still handled fairly well after a shock rebuild. Remeber how sloppy the old steering system was on those cars?

tcguy808: for parts, one word: Ebay! But there its VERY limited. Also if you're very skilled in metalworking and have access to blocks of Aluminum and a lathe/mill, there's another solution, but it'll get heavier by the moment

Jkerr: The XX tranny fits the LXT? lmk, stripped a diff gear in my tranny, NOT the lrm, so I'm lookin' for one...

Well hey I'm back from the desert, and the JRXT did better than the T3! but the T3 had Gladiators on it, they were too big, so it made the car overgeared. The JRXT had Step Pins and a Stock motor geared 16p: i think 98s. By the way (BTW), I went to the LHS for a few things last week before i left, and picked up an EPIC sport 3000 NiMH, good battery? I dont race, and it was 20 bucks so i figured it was a good deal...

The XX tranny came out before the XXT. They made it for the LXT. When the XXT came out, they used the same components but a different case. The gears should be the same though.
