Questions?? Which Car for me

Hi, I not new to RC activity but new to RC cars and I'm not sure what car to pick. I'm not interested in racing for now but I'm looking for a 1/10 off-road buggy with ideally a brushless motor and adapted ESC in RTR finish state.

Don't necessarily need a Tx either as I already have a few but I'm looking for a solid car with parts available so I can buy parts if and when they break (fed up buying cheap cars that break with no replacement parts).

I've narrowed it down to :
1) HPI Brama B10 though really tempted with the cyber 10B too (but if so what motor and ESC for the cyber ?)
2) Kyosho Laser ZX5
3) Team Academy SB sport
4) Thunder tiger sparrow XB
5) Team Associated B44

Or any cars I haven't considered yet ? I would also consider second hand in good condition.

Thanks for your help

Really like the B44 - looks well built - seems a good well established with proven performance company. But what motor and ESC to get for the b44 ?

As for the shop I live in Ireland and we don't have much choice and even for my RC boat gears I get them in a few online shops in a few countries and do my own battery packs.

Though the Kyosho Laser zx5 seems to get really good feedback too so it seems one to consider too.

Any online shop you know of that would sell them at a good price ?

problems?!~ what do you mean problems. im not going to say they are the best but they are good. its good to know what you're talking about. if you mean the havoc i can see where you're coming from.

get the new lrp tc sxx esc that has been released recently. it will kill. with the motor go with a novak ballistic motor. those will perform well.

Since you're not racing I'm going to suggest you have a look at the Traxxas Bandit VXL. Parts are extremely plentiful and aftermarket support is great. The transmission has all steel gears and a planetary differential so you won't have to worry much about breakage or maintenance. You can pick one up for about $250 RTR. Check out Towerhobbies.com.

Personally,I think the B44 is good but not a great buggy. It's too nose heavy IMO!Therefore, you as a racer need to dial out those imperfections, and if you're a novice then you will have problems with it for sure.I hear both Kyosho buggies 2WD and 4WD have a good balance of both, meaning steering and rear traction...Hope that helps fella.

All about setup All of those cars can go good
I'd suggest getting a 2wd vehicle first as it will
teach you how to drive better, which will help in the
long run, 2wd electric is comming back
4wd's are way easy to drive
I'd pick B44 or Hot Bodies version of it!!
Note that you can get all of those cars to
handle the exact same, if you have a friend with one
you can use a digital caliper to get the dimensions
and shock angles correct, there are some limitations
such as reducing anitsquat and pro squat etc
but you can get them to handle the same if you
really wanted to
