why would you need an sp motor plate when you are building an rb5 sp?

i am happy the rear arms are upgraded because thats the only part i been breaking lately.

Because it doesn't come with one.

Mid-build impression #2:

Velvet shocks are completely money. These are exactly why Kyosho > *.

Because for some silly reason, Kyosho forgot to include the ribbed "SP" motor plate in with the new SP kit..... The new SP still comes with the standard smooth motor plate thats made from a little softer aluminum .

Im waiting on that motor plate, some shock shafts...and I ordered Lunsford screws for the car. It was a last minute decision and I pulled the trigger, haha.

Did they do the gear box/rear pivot mod they talked about? Sounds to me like this car is the exact same as what everybody already has. RB5 with worlds rear end kit and other small changes. I must say that I am confused on all the different rear end versions. Maybe somebody can clear up what arms, go with what pivot, hubs, and rims, etc, for the right overall width of the car? Hopefully the new car comes ready rip out of the box!

As far as the gear box, its the same as far as I can tell, they do have a wider pivot, but Im running the normal one.

He went with the other HD ballcups. Mine has the SP ones, along with the SP buckles. The buckles are shorter in thread than AE and lunsford so you cant use the other HD cups unless you want a lot of thread showing.
