Got any of your in-house pieced together mid-arm conversions for the original RB5 in stock?

Hi Guys,

For those of you who already own a RB5. We just posted some new information on the Kyosho America site about converting a standard RB5 into the RB5-SP.

Click on Tech Tips, the click on Cars&Trucks. There you will see a link showing everything you need.

This is the link to get you there:
http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/factory...sion_Part_List

We also put this information under the Factory Support section. Just click on the RB5 picture and it is listed under Team Tips.

This is the link to get you there:
http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/factory...part_num=30074

Thanks,
JP

I got mine from my LHS 2 days ago and started the build yesterday. I am doing it slowly, admiring the quality of the materials and finish. I am putting in the electronics this weekend and would much appreciate suggestion on a good pinion as startup for a 13.5T brushless combo with a lipo. Also, what sort of underbody tray or protection you suggest, I like to protect this beauty even if it is intended for off-roading. Thanks

I don't think kyosho sells them, but I do know JConcepts (has 2 to a pack), and AE sell them. Also they are a lexan sticker type thing made by 3M.

the stick on one is what we use. Change it once a month or every other month.
