Original RC10 Shock Rebuild Kit?

Original RC10 Shock Rebuild Kit?
Hi - newbie here. Just purchased a couple of original RC10s for restoration and trying to locate which shock rebuild kit I should use. Both have the original gold shocks. Anyone know if the AE 6440 kit will work with these shocks?
(I think the official rebuild kit is 6467 but I can't find that anywhere - the 6440 is more readily available..)
Your advice is most welcome....

Top loaded or bottom loaded shocks? Top loaded ones are exactly the same as current shocks.
Bottom loaded ones seals and pistons are the same you just don't need to use the moulded retaining clips that are included in the rebuild kit, just don't break the original snap ring.

Thanks very much for the advice. Not sure what you mean by "top loaded" or "bottom loaded". Perhaps you could quickly clarify so that I know what to look out for?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Top loaded is where the seals are inserted through the top of the shock (cap end) with a nylon retaining clip to hold it in, used from around 1990 til now. In the original bottom load type the seals are put in through the bottom where the shaft comes out and is held in with a steel snap ring.
