tc3racer67: ...whoa... thats bitchin'! Are you taking off the Hard Anodizing on the shock bodies? Maybe I should do that to my extra Gold RC10 Chassis... I'm thinking soon I'm gunna take my nose plate off and start polishing that, lastly the transmission plate will have to wait.

i use the yellow can. I did take off the anodize on the shocks, i just didn't do that one cap, bucause i didn't find it until after i did the other ones. I need a dremel, but i'm trying to get a maxx now, so the project's kinda on hold

Looking sweet. If i wanted to do this to my tc3, how would i do this to threades things such as shocks and turnbuckles. I think it would look cool as a blue and silver car.

Dougnuts: it should be relatively the same... the threaded shocks would be a pain to get into all the threads and stuff but it would look pretty sweet!

Looks good. Maybe after you get that "bling bling" factor, you should protect the polish with some sort of clear coat. I dunno if it will work though, but its a suggestion.

Wow, that's looking good. I did some stripping polishing to some pieces on my old 1/8 buggy. I know how long it takes to get that shine, and how quickly it can become dull again!

I know this is a pretty old thread but I thought I would show you the finished product of my T3... I polished it ALL! I also have some Mother's aluminum Polish so it's staying shiny!
