Default LRH Hobbies-Placentia, CA Indoor Offroad Track

I just stopped by the track on the way home and it is going to be really fun once it's all done. They are really cool over there and open to suggestions too....which is great. Should be fully up and running very soon. They are already open for practice now...but still have to finish the drivers stand. But you can run now. It is electric offroad only.

The dirt is amazing. I don't think I have ever felt dirt with that much bite.

Check it out if you can you will dig it.

Holy crap, til 11!!! Definitely gotta swing by and check it out. I do agree, since the opening of OCRC, and now LRH, and possibly another one in the near future, West Coast R/C, this is another golden age for off-road tracks in So Cal!!!

Lorenzo, do you have any pics up of your track to wet our appetite? Also, is your facility indoor or outdoor off-road?

I posted a few pics here. Scroll to bottom. Not the best pics but thats all I have right now.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/track-lo...h-raceway.html

The track is indoor, electric, offroad, 1/10th scale. I will try and post some better pictures tomorrow.

The track is approximately 340ft of track with 9 - 10ft lanes. We are using a clay/dirt mixture that has literally zero dust and is high bite. Our pit tables are 4x8 so one table will comfortably support 4. The table tops are all painted white (yup white). With white table tops and the flourescent lighting you will be able to easily work on you car/truck and not misplace any hardware. We also have a hobby shop which will support the track and an online store as well. Our online shop is still WIP but is online.

Thanks,

Lorenzo

Hey what's up? Yeah....I get my electric on also here and there. I like to take a break from the noise every once and a while and relax indoors. I drive 1/10scale 4wd and I just picked up a 1/8th scale Ofna Hyper 9e. I still need to get some electronics for it though.

I'm going down to LRH today and do a couple of laps and maybe throw a shovel a little bit. I'm really pumped on this place....it's right down the street from me. It's not the biggest place in the world but you will LOVE the dirt. It is crazy!

See you out at the track.
