I have no problems with my switch/epics they run great everywhere and yes I have brushless on lipos. The only place they dont hook up well is on dirt track. Bashing on dirt they are fine. Grass and street to. Never pulled em off the bead. Not once.

I've been disappointed in the Epics/Switch combo on the grass I'm running on. They're slower than the stockers due to wheelspin from decreased traction. Stockers aren't that great either. I've just got a set of Dirt Works tires and RPM rims, but they're wider and I'm not sure I'm going to try them. I'll look at the Talons, this grass need something with wider spaced tread pattern so it can grip.

I'm running a 2S Sidewinder/5700 setup, but getting ready to switch to a MM and Medusa 4800 on 3S. I think I'm going to need all the traction I can get!

Use rims designed for the rear of the Electric Rustler. They fit on the front and rear of the Slash and everything stays inside the body. You can get cheap ones from Traxxas for around $4 or spend $10 for RPM Chrome in various designs.

If you are using Rustler Fronts as you posted, they will stick out about 1/2" on each side. The actual difference in offset is .470" between the fronts and the rears. The body will probably cut into the tires when the car leans in the turns.

Thanks! Thats type info I was looking for - I noticed that when I installed them last night. Thye're not glued up yet and I ordered a set of rears last night as well. They do look good though and the black goes pretty well with trucks appearance.

I want to weigh these and compare weight to stock to see what kind of unsprung weight I'm adding.
