antenna wire ripped off

the antenna wire on my truck ripped off and basically the wire is about 3 inches long lol is there a way to fix it or do i have to buy a whole new receiver

what receiver is it? the spektrum receivers antenna can be cut down to a minimum of 3"

its for the mini lst and its not a spektrum radio
