yup works greats, and with the updated outdrives you have nothing to worry about... i had originally bought a rebuild kit with mine and i still havent used it so yes the durability has been great...

Thanks for response. I was wondering about reduced wear to the diff cups and CVDs on the front and rear diffs/axles as well. Thanks

Anyone have any recent input on the slipperential? I am thinking about buying one, and just read through the whole thread - Do I need to order any other bearings?? Mine will be going into a Losi 8ight T

Any feedback is awesome!!

i bought one of these when they first came out and didnt like it. my only reason for not liking it was because i prefer to run mechanical brakes and at the time there was not a mechanical brake kit for the slipperential outdrives. now there is. i also had to make mods to my buggies for it to fit. that said, i know a lot of people really love the slipperential.

but get this. i was talking with Tekno RC this week and they are in final stages of development of a slipper clutch for 1/8 brushless. it is entirely different concept and sounds like it should be sweet.

It's works great. I use 3 of them. It relieves the stress on the drivetrain and prevents the car from wheelie-ing when moving off.

It is a center differential with a built in slipper clutch. It gives you the normal tuning ability of the center diff with fluids, but it also has a slipper that you can use for traction control and to take some strain off the driveline.

Brushless 1/8 buggies put out some serious HP and when you are using direct drive, the drive line takes a lot of abuse. In addition, because the acceleration is so instantaneous, it can make getting traction that much harder. The slipper allows some "slip" during acceleration which helps put the power to the ground instead of just spinning the tires.

I run them both in my buggy and truggy. An absolute must have tuning aid.
