Caster owners
One of the weak points of the Fusion is the battery trays.
I want to see if there is a market for aluminum trays.I machined these at work and was wonderind if any Caster owners(or any 8th scale ) would be interested in them.Have not really thought about a price but would expect around $35 0r $40.Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have not put them on a scale yet but they are going to be slightly heavier than the stock trays.
The aluminum trays have a thicker base to screw in to so there is a little more material to these trays versus the stock plastic ones.
I will find out the exact weight in the next couple days or so.

Excellent work man! I hope when you do make and sell them, you'll include the velcro straps too.

Cool! BTW, are you still using the 3mm countersunk screws to mount the aluminum battery trays you made?
