I'll get started. First thing I did was thank the UPS Guy for safely delivering the box in one piece.
Then I took a deep breath so not to damage anything in my frenzy to open the box.
Took out the body, sat it next to my daughters Slash, and the dang Slash got the shakes.
Everything looks to be packaged and labeled for easy step by step building.
The Instruction pack includes the Die-Cut Decal Sheet, Manual, Catalog (with all the part numbers/exploded views/FT & Option Parts/electronics/fluids/ball diff option/you name it), and window mask.
First step is the Steering Rack Build.

amazing truck. saw it when they were testing out at ocrc. the truck is awesome. slashs didnt even come close. handles amazing. u wont go back to the slash

So the manual shows Factory Team parts?? Does that mean a FT version will be coming out as well?
What it means is that quite a few of the FT T4 parts fit.
I am curious why they didn't include some of the FT parts with the truck, such as shocks? It is a kit, so why not have the first kit be a SC10 FT edition?

(#1) ~ Cost, and more FT parts = higher retail price
(#2) ~ I could be wrong, but I have never heard of a AE first-off being a FT kit.

Okay. Finished building the Servo Saver, Steering Rack, and attaching the assembly to the Chassis.
A couple of highlights.
The Servo Saver contains the Heavy Duty Servo Spring (#9657). I enjoyed the feature of the Ball ends being inserted with a Hex Driver. Very easy to correctly align perpendicular to the part. Plus should make geometry changes in hard to reach sectons very easy without the need for a major teardown.
I had plenty of Factory Team Blue Option parts lying around, so I went ahead and used a Blue Servo Saver Bolt (#9610B) I had while I was building. The kit comes with the standard silver bolt #9610.
The Steering Rack uses 4 Brass Bushings, but you can add ball bearings should you desire them. Bearings for this application are part # 3971.
I included a picture of the SC10 Chassis Vs my T4 Chassis so you can see the difference in length.
Now for a snack, then completing the Front Suspension and Shock tower Assembly. Pretty straight forward B4/T4 Stuff in these steps. Just body mount assembly and front Skid/Bumpers.
