I prefer it over Traxxas any day still would keep your 2wd buggy as you will get tired of the RC10 pretty quickly when all you do is lap racers by 5 laps that use the slash"
In your hurry to reply to everything on the off-road forum you not only confused manufacturers but vehicles to boot.

the losi is a POS, it doesnt fit in any class and is more of a toy than a hobby grade race car. It is very fragile, Ive never seen 1 finish a race day. Who needs working lights on a race truck? get a grip. Im sure losi will put a SCT out soon that will be competive.

IF you want to run in the SCT class rather than the SLASH SPEC class the SC10 cost less than the Slash

Where in any of the below did you EVER mention the desert truck?

I hate to have to explain it to you again, but by the time you add a decent radio and receiver and esc and motor to replace the stock crap that came in your RTR you'll only then have a decent basher. You go git it man, but some of us don't want backmarkers.

LOL unless you already have the good radio and a spare receiver

Seriously, the whole "money" argument is getting rather old. The Slash and the SC10 are very close in cost.
Now if all you ever plan on doing is racing the stock Slash class, then your good. But if you choose to move up to the SCT class, the SC10 is actually the less expensive entry.
That said, let's quit arguing and try to build SC truck racing and help it acheive the huge potential it has.
It doesn't matter what class you prefer, in the end it is still SC truck racing.

The Thundertech chassis and a legal motor is all that is needed to be competitive.

Thats the problem, you think going out and buying 600.00$ wreath of stuff is going to make it the worlds best truck, its not ! I'm running 5.5 larp stuff in my slash , and can give a race u think your going too win at. the younger people watching this thread get the idea that you have got to have lots of money to do well. NOT ! AE. is way to high now. the truck is not wreath what thay wont. You really get a lot for the money with the slash. and it races just fine. Al thou you don't think so. Come git some. AE. lover.
