Default gold plated connectors from speedo to motor

Hey guys quick question. I run 13.5 truck, if I was to put gold plated connectors from my speed control to motor so I can quickly swap out the motor with out too much trouble would I lose anything by not having it hardwired the way I currently have it setup? just curious if I would notice a performance loss. I would like to start experimenting with different motors and putting the gold plated connectors on the wire would make swapping in and out easier.

Let me know what you think

A good connector will probably be better than soldering and resoldering the same wires over and over again. Old reused solder joints have more resistance than a good connector.

Go for it!
