bet I could beat you in that desert truck if you drove a slash any day
but I just race them
, however, at least with the Losi you have a safe 2.4 radio, the lights on the truck actually light up as well. Both trucks are fun to drive around. If you crash constantly get a slash, if you race hard and well get the Losi
Both are pretty durable to me unless you purposely crash it or attempt to put a way bigger motor than what makes any sense to use and hit the wall, tree, or light post, or even stop sign or ditch.
However the slash that I drove with this setup ran pretty well.
Camber- (-2 front and -1 in rear)
40wt oil in rear and 45wt in the front
max angled shock angles in the front - stock in rear
higher spring rate in the front
^ that ran really well on the track for a slash.
The losi ran just as well with a similar setup, but is more like a 2wd buggy with speed-T parts and stadium truck body. It doesn't really matter what I drive to drive it good, but I can say the slash is more durable, but both are fun, just a personal preference. Least with the Losi you can upgrade to Graphite arms, I would just get the XXX ball cups and put nuts under the ballstud instead of washers and it's more durable than a slash. I never really liked anything from Traxxas.
