Adam you have to have a current roar membership before you sign up and I believe for the nats it has to be a full year membership. I am sure Alex will chime in and clarify this though.
Hope to see you there man.

Yep, Jeremy is right.

Also, no entries will be taken after June 12th.

Definately get it in before the late entry deadline in May.

Thanks guys, just hate having the uncertainty from work.

When I get my membership from roar, can I then, send in the enty for 1 class and sign up for the rest when I get there?

Adam, I don't think you can. I was told to modify my flyer to indicate that no entries would be taken after June 12. I think it's because with the RMT running the program, they aren't left with any last minute changes to the heats.

Actually Matt can't go now.

Besides, I have enough room for about 4 to 5 people.

You're all set if you want it.

yeah, I had to cancel my reservations at Hotel du Sturgeon. The Airforce decided I would better enjoy my time at Lackland AFB for 6 weeks this summer and it happens to fall over the nats dates

Thanks Speed!

Well, we are supposed to get walloped tomorrow with the last winter storm of the year, so we took todays nice weather to make progress on the track.

We were able to get all the holes dug and all the posts placed for the new retaining wall on the backside of the track, which will hold a raised back straight.

We also built "the box" that will hold up a nice elevation change.

Now all we need is some more nice weather and a lot more dirt!!!

More to come...

Got some more questions coming in over the last week that I'll post answers to here...

We are going to run the track dry during the event. The track will be swept and blown off in between heats. Once we know how many heats we'll have, I'll have a more definite schedule. It'll probably be between every 3rd heat or so. I will water the edges of the track after practice and qualifying is over each night.

The track will be closed after our club race on June 19 and not re-open until Wednesday the 24th.

The track surface will be hard packed with a layer of dusty clay on top. As much as I've tried over the years I've never been able to get rid of the dusty layer that our Nebraska dirt provides. Sweeping and leaf blowing helps, but it will be there.

Stated tire prices...Truck tires are 15.99, Buggy tires are 10.99.

Again, you can pit inside and you can leave your stuff in your pits of you'd like. You won't need to bring your own chair or table if pitting inside and there is no fee to pit inside. I would bring an extra power strip though.

I think that's about it for now. Entries are over 60 already.

Thanks!
