does anyone have a link to sealing a slash diff with o-rings?

just get some rv sealent from any place that sells auto parts. it seal but u can still remove it when u have to

I prefer to put the O-rings inside the diff rather than outside. But you need smaller O-rings. I use the ones sold by IRS (Irrgang racing Service) to seal their pan car micro shocks.
