Anyone have a Rustler XVL with a mamba set up on it? I want to know how it runs
 

Anyone have an XVL with a mamba set up on it? If so whats your gearing, topspeed, battery you use and your runtime??? Would like to know. Im thinking of getting one for my rustler XVL

I have, and I think I like the power of the velineon motor much more, but the config flexibility of the cc esc. Many people would suggest the MM esc and VXL motor for a killer setup. I'm going to do the same.

I have a GTB with a brushless velociti 6.5R , flies with 22/83 but gets hot in 10 minutes. So does that mean the velineon brushless system that comes with it will be faster then my novak set up?

after doing some research I think Imgonna get a Novak Havok 3S esc/ Ballistics 8.5T brushless/ 3s li-po. That should be better then the velineon system right???

I have a mamba max 5700 and I like it, I have a stampede vxl and tried the stock system, then the mamba system. Now I am running the mamba motor with the Velenion esc. It is pretty sweet I like the fact that the Velenion is so easy to program without a pc or lap top. I only have the one lipo so I run nimh's as well.

Basically I like the mamba system a hole lot. I think it has more torqe then the Velenion. I do have to add, I don't race, I bash.
